This tutorial we shown how to arrange the cameras on Hikvision Ivms 4200 client software Using this method to rearrange or order the cameras without changing their physical connections on your DVR/XVR
open the iVMS-4200 client software on your computer and Login to the software.
By default, on the main view, after adding the device, all cameras are listed based on their DVR BNC ports
If you want to customize the view according to your preferred order, follow these configuration steps
Go to “device management”, then select “Group”, You may see your existing “Group”, Here all cameras are listed as per our dvr/xvr video connector order
To make our choice of camera order, Go to “Add Group” then enter your choice of name. after need to import the cameras (Encoding channel) to the created group encoding channels
If you have added multiple devices, you can select all to list out all the cameras. Click Grid view option to view thumbnail of camera image, You can now select and import the cameras one by one according to your preferred order Or can select preferred cameras together and reorder them using drag and drop
The new group of cameras is now set up according to the preferred order.
