In this tutorial, we have shown how to enable or disable EZVIZ camera privacy mode.
This feature that allows you to safeguard your privacy by disabling the camera’s live view and recording functions temporarily. When Privacy Mode is activated, the camera will stop recording and transmitting video and audio, providing you with privacy when you are at home or in a private space.
To enable privacy mode, open your EZVIZ app, select your camera, and go to live view. Then select the ‘Privacy Mode’ icon to enable the feature.
By enabling Privacy Mode, you can have peace of mind knowing that your camera is not capturing or transmitting any video or audio data.
The camera will not be recording any events, also we will not receive notifications during that time.
To view and start recording, disable Privacy Mode on the main screen as usual.
If you are using EZVIZ C6C, C8C, or C6N camera types, the lens shutter will open.
